Patchwork Classes
I am an experienced Patchwork teacher, having held regular well attended classes in my own shop/studio for more than ten years. I have also taught classes at several QGI annual Retreat/Conferences and for various quilt groups both here in Ireland and in Australia. And have been an enthusiastic student in the classes of many award winning Tutors both at home and abroad. I enjoy passing on the skills and information I continue to gather to my own students.

I Can offer you classes for all levels of patchwork experience, and particularly enjoy teaching those that are just beginning their patchwork journey.
Other Classes
Patchwork for Beginners:
In this class we will make a 'Five Strip Fence rail' Quilt. You will learn the basic techniques of patchwork that will hold you in good stead as you continue on your quilting journey.
Scrap Quilts:
Scrap Quilts are one of my favourite things to do. I like to make mine with half square triangles. A very versatile and quick method of making a vibrant and eye catching quilt. I will show you some different methods of making half squares, but we will focus on my favourite method which is quick, easy and accurate. I will also show and tell you what I like to do to make a successful scrap quilt.
Beginning Foundation Piecing:
In this class we will make a small wall hanging where I will take the mystery out of this technique. A good class to do if you have no experience with foundation piecing, or if you have found it a difficult technique to master.
Making a Scene:
In this class we will create a picture. This is a machine appliqué class where we will use our fabrics to create a simple scene and then quilt and embellish. A fun class that Is suitable for all levels of experience
